I'm Petru Amortoae — a senior web designer and developer based in Sibiu, Romania, building for clients across the United States, Australia, and Europe.
I built my first real client website in 2012, working remotely for a company in Los Angeles. I was young, hungry, and figured out fast that I could deliver the same quality as a US-based studio — at a pace most of them couldn't match.
From there I moved on to an Australian company, then started taking on my own projects — collaborating with web agencies who needed a reliable builder they could trust with their clients. Word spread. Referrals stacked up. Fourteen years and 800+ websites later, I work with businesses from all over the world, and I still do it the same way: one person, start to finish.
No account managers. No junior devs learning on your budget. No agency markup. Just one senior who designs the thing, builds the thing, and ships it on the day we said we would.
I'm based in Sibiu, Romania — a medieval city with good coffee and fast internet. I keep regular overlap with US Eastern time and run everything else async. Time zone is a feature, not a bug.
